Diddy “I am being Fed with Maggot-Infested and Expired Food in Brooklyn Prison”

In a renewed push for bail ahead of his sentencing on October 3, 2025, Sean “Diddy” Combs’s legal team has raised serious concerns about the conditions of his confinement at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, submitted a letter to the presiding judge alleging that Combs is being served expired, maggot-infested food—a condition reportedly captured in a disturbing photo. These claims, combined with frequent lockdowns and a deteriorating mental toll, were presented as “exceptional circumstances” in a bid to revisit his denied bail status.
Background of the Case
The 55-year-old music mogul has been held at MDC since his arrest in September 2024 on a range of charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related offenses. In July 2025, Combs was convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious trafficking and RICO charges.
Despite the partial acquittal, Combs’s previous bail request was denied. The judge at the time expressed no urgency in altering that decision, though has reportedly expressed openness to moving up the sentencing date.
Conditions and Concerns at MDC
Brooklyn’s MDC has been plagued by controversy for years. The facility has a reputation for harsh and often unsanitary conditions, frequent lockdowns, and complaints of medical neglect and violence. Inmates, advocates, and even correctional staff have voiced concerns about the prison’s management and its impact on detainees’ health and safety.
According to Combs’s legal team, the food situation has been particularly distressing. Meals served are allegedly unfit for human consumption, and the emotional toll has been significant. His lawyer described it as one of the most difficult aspects of his confinement.
