Patrick Mahomes and his wife might be two of the most famous people on the planet with a fortune of wealth to their names but one of the costs of fame is you will never be allowed to be a “normal” person in public and that’s what the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback discovered as he was booed out of a restaurant on vacation.
The pair are currently on a getaway to Cabo, Mexico, and took the chance to taste some of the local cuisine. Whilst they probably enjoyed their meals, the three-time Super Bowl champion and his wife, Brittany, didn’t enjoy their trip out of the joint as rival fans booed them to the door

They had gone to Rosa Negra (Black Rose) on Thursday, April 18, to taste Latin American food in the vacation hotspot just south of the United States but rival NFL fans were also in attendance and heckled the pair as they tried to enjoy a quiet night together.
The fans in question support the Las Vegas Raiders, and much like their franchise are quite far from home, but they decided to shout, “Raiders, Raiders, Raiders,” at the 28-year-old star, who simply ignored them as he walked his wife out too. Ironically, Mahomes has seen more success at the stadium than the Raiders fans and players have as he inspired them to an overtime Super Bowl victory in the Raiders backyard in Nevada.
Mahomes’ good week
Their date night, without their children Sterling-Skye and Bronze, came after a successful week for the footballer as he was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People following his Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Mahomes had shared professional photos of the nomination and Brittany Mahomes praised her husband by posting them to Instagram with the caption, “My hottttttt hubby.”
