After more than a month apart, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted enjoying a lunch date in Kansas City on Wednesday, much to the delight of fans. The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 34, were seen heading to a chic local restaurant shortly after returning to the U.S.
Having just wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour, Swift looked radiant in a light blue sweater and sunglasses as she entered the restaurant. Kelce, sporting a brown sweater and a white hat, followed her shortly after. The couple arrived separately but were quickly recognized by fans who eagerly captured photos of their reunion.
One fan took to social media platform X, sharing their excitement after seeing Swift in person, “Taylor is so tall and incredibly beautiful up close and in person.” Another set of fan photos showed the couple enjoying the restaurant’s outdoor seating, with Kelce removing his hat as they settled in for their meal.
This reunion marks the first time the couple has been seen together since their last encounter in Germany, where Kelce had flown to support Swift during one of her tour stops. Kelce has been a steadfast supporter throughout Swift’s tour, attending 14 of her concerts across the globe, including in Argentina, Australia, France, England, Ireland, Germany, and Singapore.
Despite mixed reactions in the NFL world, Kelce has become well-known as Swift’s boyfriend, a title he seems to embrace wholeheartedly. His presence at Swift’s shows has not gone unnoticed by fans, who appreciate the couple’s mutual support for each other’s careers.
With Swift now on a break from her Eras Tour, the pair will have more time to spend together. Swift’s tour will resume in November with six dates in Toronto, followed by three dates in December at BC Place in Vancouver.
Kelce, who recently participated in the Kansas City Chiefs’ preseason games, made headlines by starting in the first game of the year.
