The Kansas City Chiefs are fresh off a 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, advancing to 10-1 on the season.
After the Sunday victory, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to social media to share an announcement with fans.
On Monday, Patrick Mahomes collaborated on a post with Adidas Football and 2pm (Mahomes’ official merchandise page).
In the post, Patrick Mahomes gave fans a look at Adidas’ latest drop, the “Mahomes 2 Impact FLX” bronze training shoes.
The shoe was named after his son, Bronze Mahomes, reflecting the colorway with the two-year-old’s name.
Upon the release of the post, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, commented on the collaboration with her boys.
“Omg my wittle Bronze,” Brittany Mahomes said.
Patrick Mahomes was advertising the shoes with Bronze Mahomes in the video, giving fans a look at what he calls “the legacy.”
“Three rings, three stripes, three generations,” Patrick Mahomes said in the ad. “The legend lives on the field. The legacy lives at home.”
The shoes are currently available for $150 on the Adidas store. According to the site, the shoes feature a Repetition midsole, synthetic upper hug for a snug fit and are made of 20% recycled materials.
