Angel Reese seems to have the perfect relationship with boyfriend Cam’Ron Fletcher. The Florida State basketball player, who is still on crutches following a knee surgery, called Reese on FaceTime with an over-the-top Valentine’s Day surprise that the LSU standout couldn’t help but share on social media, despite its lack of creativity.
Fletcher appeared on video in front of a homemade set for his cheesy Valentine’s proposal. He stood, with the help of crutches, on a backdrop of hearts, rose petals and balloons, holding flowers and an oversized pink card that asked: “Will you be my Valentine?” “Long distance is the worst but he all the way in NYC, just had surgery & did this,” Reese wrote on her Instagram story with a series of emojis. “I love you a MILLION TIMESSSSSS.”

Cam’s dedication, which Angel has never been shy of sharing on social media, drew nearly universal adoration from her millions of followers. “He such a sweet boyfriend yall are so cute fav basketball couple,” read the top comment on TikTok, featuring over 1,400 likes. “This man is so Inlove with you,” said another comment with more than 300 likes.

“If he wanted to he would ladies,” one fan said of Fletcher’s dedication, ironically next to a comment from an aggrieved male fan who said, “Now my girl gone send me this.” Approval from Reese’s fan base is important, but Fletcher also gained respect from the most important woman of all. “You did really good son!” his mother commented under the video, to which Angel replied, “thank you for giving birth to the best crazy lover boy ever!”
