The Cookie of the Year was at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. While watching the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots game with Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes showed off one of the sweet treats served inside their suite. One cookie had icing on top that read “Dads, Brads, and Chads” — a quote from Swift’s Time Person of the Year cover story.
Debbie Butters of Coco Butters Cookies created the cookie as part of a set after she got the request on “short notice.” “I was like absolutely I will make cookies for Taylor Swift. I don’t care how much notice. I don’t care how late I have to stay up,” Butters told Boston 25.

Butters also made cookies in the shape of a jersey with Swift’s cats names on the back, plus a recreation of her Time cover. Swift, who turned 34 on Dec. 13, referenced “dads, Brads, and Chads” while speaking about the frequency she is shown on a broadcast when she is supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce at his games.
“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she told Time. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
“I’m just there to support Travis,” Swift added. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.” Butters, who was given free reign over the design of the cookies in the suite, put the “whatever” hand symbol on the “dads, Brads, and Chads” cookies to give Swift “a little chuckle,” she tells PEOPLE.
“I hoped that she would get a kick out of that,” says Butters. “When Brittany Mahomes posted a picture of that cookie on her Instagram story I couldn’t believe it. I felt like that cookie had the impact that I hoped it would have…which was to give them a little chuckle!”
Butters has previously made cookies for luxury suites at Gillette but says “this order brought on a whole new level of excitement.” Swift and Mahomes were spotted having a blast at the most recent Chiefs game. The singer-songwriter celebrated a Kansas City Chiefs touchdown Sunday by picking Mahomes up. Photographers snapped a picture of the joyous moment when Mahomes, 28, smiled happily as she wrapped her arms around Swift.
Both were dressed cozy for the game. Mahomes wore a winter white trench coat with Mahomes written on the back — and Swift showed her support for Kelce, 34, in a Chiefs sweatshirt and beanie hat featuring his number 87. The Chiefs won Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, with a score of 27-17.
