Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and girlfriend Bry Burrows spark engagement rumors with diamond ring at Packers game
Several other fans joined in to congratulate the couple — despite them not confirming the alleged engagement.
“I wish you happiness.. ,” one user tweeted.
“Lucky heffa! Congratulations to them! ,” wrote another.
Eagles cornerback Darius Slay’s wife, Jennifer Slay, also added to the speculation by quoting the photo and saying, “Omggg they’re engaged .”
Others commented on the size of Burrows’ alleged engagement ring, with one writing, “That thang got some weight to it!”
“That thang got its own zip code!!!” another said.
Page Six reached out to Hurts’ representative about the engagement chatter and did not receive an immediate response.
Hurts, 26, confirmed his relationship with Burrows when he walked onto the field holding her hand following the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory in January 2023.
“I’m not married or anything like that, but I am spoken for,” he confirmed in April of that year while speaking to Essence.
However, the star quarterback admitted he “knew a long time ago” that Burrows was the one for him.
“I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling,” he gushed. “I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”
The pair met while they were both students at the University of Alabama and dated on and off. Burrows has been employed by IBM for about five years, per her LinkedIn, and is an artificial intelligence partner.
They keep their relationship almost completely out of the spotlight, though she doesn’t skip a chance to support her beau.
They were all smiles as they walked the red carpet of the Time100 Next Gala in October 2023.
