Gender reveal parties are becoming increasingly bizarre and extravagant, and Logan Paul and Nina Agdal didn’t miss the opportunity to do something wacky in announcing the gender of their baby.  Paul and Agdal, who got engaged in July 2023, shared their pregnancy news on April 15 as they prepare to welcome their first child.

The YouTuber, 29, and Danish model, 32, opted to hold a wrestling-themed gender reveal party to determine the sex of the baby, with family and close friends joining them for the intimate occasion.  One of the party’s attendees shared a video on Instagram Stories of the faux wrestling match, which would decide whether the baby would be a boy or girl.

Two fighters – one dressed in blue and the other in a pink outfit – fought with each other, with fellow YouTuber Oliver Tree volunteering to officiate the ‘fight’.  As the fight went on, it looked increasingly as if the blue wrestler was going to emerge victorious. However, the wrestler in pink came out on top to confirm Paul and Agdal would be having a baby girl.

To make it official, a puff of pink smoke was released into the air and it sparked emotional celebrations as Paul was seen hugging his brother Jake Paul and their family.  After the event finished, Logan shared an Instagram post featuring photos from the sex reveal, featuring photos of their loved ones celebrating the occasion.  He also didn’t miss a chance to promote his Prime energy drink brand, which featured a pink and blue label reading: “Lil Hydration” and “Arriving 2024.”

Why did they decide on wrestling?

The Paul brothers have been involved in wrestling, boxing and MMA since emerging on the scene through their videos on YouTube, so it hardly a surprise that wrestling took a key role in the party.  Both have enjoyed the highs and lows that come from fighting in those disciplines, with Logan forging a path in the WWE as a professional wrestler after losing out to KSI in a bout back in 2019.  And now, he can look forward towards becoming a father for the first time, with Agdal’s due date estimated to be in the Fall.
