Millie Bobby Brown, 20, furiously hits back at age-shaming trolls as she gives the perfect response for brutally criticizing her new looks: “I’m not sorry about my older look because it took… See more

Actress Millie Bobby Brown, 20, is hitting back after fans brutally criticized her looks last week.

The Stranger Things star recently made headlines after she posted a pouting selfie to Instagram last week, but many claimed that she looked different.

Some users slammed her by alleging that the star looked 35 instead of 20.

However, Brown seems to be blocking out the noise, as she took to her Instagram Story, which has since expired, with a simple message for the haters on January 1.

‘Women grow!! Not sorry about it,’ Brown wrote in black text against a white background, along with a smiley-face emoji.

In the viral photo that sparked the conversation, the Florence by Mills founder wore a gorgeous white and burgundy toile-print dress, and accessorized with a small sized Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, complete with the brand’s signature print in rainbow from the Murakami collection.

Her hair cascaded down her neck in loose, beachy-waves, as she wrote in the caption, ‘Me and my mini.’

In her post, she also included two additional photos – one that was a close-up of the bag on her arm, and the other was a zoomed-in photo of half of her face.

Although the Stranger Things star looked stunning in the snaps, many Instagram users raised an eyebrow at her appearance.

‘You’re pretty and your natural features look good, don’t fix what’s not broken,’ one person wrote.

Another agreed, ‘Sorry but WTF is this? Like, why? Just why? So much fillers and Botox.’

‘She went from looking like 13 years old to looking 45,’ someone else typed.

However, many of the star’s fans came to her defense, and gushed that she looked as good as ever.

‘Guys nothing happened she’s wearing a lot of makeup so she looks more mature. She’s beautiful either way,’ one person wrote.

Another seconded, ‘Why does everyone think it’s acceptable to comment on someone’s looks?’

Her selfie comes just months after she married Jake Bongiovi, son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, in May 2024.

The couple tied the knot in Tuscany with their families present, a moment that Jon Bon Jovi gushed about shortly after the fact.

He shared his thoughts on the nuptials during a May 28 interview on BBC’s The One Show, per The Hollywood Reporter.

‘They’re absolutely fantastic,’ Bon Jovi said at the time.

‘It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be,’ he continued.
