It appears that things are getting worse by the day for Prince Andrew as he is embroiled in several setbacks at once.
King Charles’ disgraced brother, who was stripped off of his royal titles and patronages over his sex scandal, has been brutally mocked once again in a new series released by Amazon Prime.
According to a former Buckingham Palace staffer, many current and former employees are rejoicing the treatment he has been getting.
The ex-staffer, who worked for Andrew, told The Daily Beast, that Palace employees who “put up with Andrew’s petulant, rude and inconsiderate behaviour” when he was a working royal were “thrilled and brimming with schadenfreude” at reports suggesting Andrew will be portrayed as a foul-mouthed, disrespectful bully.
He also added that “some people thought he got off lightly last time but it seems Amazon have nailed him this time round.”
Previously, Netflix released Scoop, a movie based on Sam McAlister’s memoir, Newsnight, about Andrew and Emily Maitlis’ 2019 interview.
The Amazon series, which is executive produced by Maitlis, takes a closer look at the series of events that took place before and after the interview.
Meanwhile, Andrew is also in a row with his monarch brother, who is running out patience to kick him out of the 30-room mansion, Royal Lodge.
While no official announcement has been made, Palace sources reveal that the King Charles will deal with Andrew “tidily or untidily” the shamed royal continues to resist eviction with his antics.
Following the 2019 interview, Andrew was forced to step down as a working royal as his ties with convicted paedophile Jeffery Epstein were laid bare. He was also accused of having inappropriate relations with a minor, which he eventually had to settle in a legal case, without admitting guilt.
