Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is being forcibly linked with a move to the Dallas Cowboys thanks to his known support for Dallas-based teams from his childhood.
Mahomes is a Texas native, having grown up in Tyler which is not too far away from Dallas. It is very common to see him actively supporting the likes of the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA and the Dallas Stars in the NHL

The Mavericks are currently taking part in the Western Conference Finals and they have a commanding 3-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Mahomes was there to see Game 3.
Mahomes was seen giving PJ Washington some great support for his play during the game at the American Airlines Center.
The QB also then tweeted after the game: “Atmosphere was crazy tonight!”
Mahomes was not the only member of the Chiefs there, as Travis Kelce was also in attendance. Both of them got plenty of attention from the crowd and the cameras.
Each time that Mahomes is seen supporting a team from Dallas, it gets Cowboys fans excited by the prospect of him eventually leaving the Chiefs and trying to win the Super Bowl with them in Texas.
One fan responded to a Mavs tweet saying: “I love Dak [Prescott] but Mahomes better retire a Dallas Cowboy,” to which another said: “Dak is in his last year but I doubt they will ever let Mahomes leave Kansas City.”
Right now, nothing from either the Chiefs or Mahomes himself suggests that he wants to leave Kansas but a part of him must love the idea of being a Super Bowl winner in Dallas.
