Prince Harry pulled up to a celebrity-loved tattoo shop in New York City on Wednesday – staying there for over an hour.
Photos exclusively obtained by Page Six show the Duke of Sussex, 40, arriving in a black SUV to East Side Ink in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
The shop is no stranger to A-listers, as the “Avengers” – including Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner – all previously got matching ink there from tattoo artist Joshua Lord.
During Harry’s visit on Wednesday, he was accompanied by his own powerful group. He was flanked by members of his security team, who were dressed in dark green slacks and gray polo shirts.
One of the individuals, however, was wearing a suit, and we’ve been told it’s believed the man works for the New York Police Department and has been assigned to be part of the prince’s detail for his NYC trip.
As further evidence that there was a police presence, video Page Six obtained shows that aside from Harry’s black vehicle, there were two NYPD cars accompanying him from the front and back.
A source tells Page Six that Harry stayed at the shop from about 1 p.m. to a little over 2 p.m.
Ever since the British royal and his wife, Meghan Markle, had a nearly “catastrophic” paparazzi car chase in the Big Apple back in May 2023, Harry has been given additional security personnel when in New York.
The Post was told last month that he was headed to the concrete jungle to “advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives,” including those with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst.
However, Harry clearly found some time to enjoy himself while visiting the East Coast, as well. The royal also appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” where he visited a haunted house with the host.
It appears the segment was taped the same day Harry visited the tattoo shop, as he was wearing the same forest green button up and dark jeans in the “Tonight Show” clips as in the footage we obtained.
The father of two perhaps was on an adrenaline rush ahead of getting spooked with Jimmy Fallon.
Page Six has reached out to his reps and East Side Ink for comment but did not immediately hear back.
However, a source exclusively reveals to us that Harry did not actually get a tattoo during his visit to the famed shop Wednesday, as he was just there for a promotional stunt he’s filming for an upcoming project.
That being said, it is not against British monarch protocol for royals to get tattoos, though, as several members of the famous family — both past and present — have gotten their own permanent designs.
Princess Eugenie, for instance, who is Harry’s first cousin, has a small circle tattoo just behind her left ear.
It’s unclear whether Harry has ever gotten a real tattoo before, but it wouldn’t be a total surprise, as the prince has never shied away from rebellious ways.
The “Spare” author — who has been open about using drugs as a teen and has been known to enjoy a party or two — even recently quipped about his unruly behavior.
While speaking to the Clinton Foundation in New York City Tuesday, Harry joked, “Some say kids will be kids and that may well be true. Kids may get into trouble – I know a thing or two about that.”
