Smallville star Tom Welling arrested for DUI in parking lot of Northern California Arby’s just few days after he was spotted trying to…

Smallville actor Tom Welling was arrested in connection with driving under the influence Monday in Northern California.

Welling, 47, was taken into custody in the parking lot of an Arby’s restaurant in Yreka, California shortly after midnight, TMZ reported Tuesday, citing police records.

The Putnam Valley, New York-born actor’s blood alcohol level was measured at or above 0.08 percent, the outlet reported, citing legal records.

Welling has since been released from custody after he was cited for the violation, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

Welling is best known for his role as Clark Kent for 217 episodes on the TV series Smallville from 2001-2011.

Dailymail.com has reached out to reps for Welling for comment.

Welling has not yet publicly commented on his arrest in the small Northern California town, which is about 16 miles south of the Oregon border.

Welling and his wife Jessica Rose Lee, who is an equestrian, are parents to two sons: Thomson Wylde, six, and Rocklin Von, three.

Jessica has the location ‘Northern California’ in the bio line of her Instagram page.

Welling most recently posted to social media on Sunday, as he wished his spouse a happy birthday.

‘Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more!’ Welling said. ‘We love you to the moon and back! @jessicarosewelling #happybirthday #love.’

Welling accompanied by a carousel of pics of her, including a couple shot of them riding horses.

The couple last month celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, as they tied the knot on November 30, 2019 in San Ynez, California at Sunstone Vineyards & Winery.

Welling was previously wed to model Jamie White, with the pair divorcing in 2013 following a decade-long marriage.

Welling, in a chat with Comicbookmovie.com in October, said that he would be amenable to reprise his role as the Man of Steel at some point.

‘You know, I think now because of the two boys that I have with my lovely wife … we have a bunch of costumes at home,’ Welling said. ‘It started out at the first Halloween and now we have, I don’t know, 40 or 50 costumes. The one costume we don’t have is the Superman costume.’

He continued, ‘I asked my son why and he said, “Because he’s taken” and I said, “By who?” “By [you].” That was like, “Alright, I think I’m open to the idea now.” So, if you know anybody, I think it would be great. I think it would be fun to be part of.’

In addition to his work on The WB series based in the DC Universe, Welling has also acted in a number of TV shows and motion pictures.

They include shows such as Professionals, The Winchesters, Lucifer and Batwoman, the latter of which he reprised his role as Clark Kent.

He appeared opposite Steve Martin, Hilary Duff and Eugene Levy in 2003’s Cheaper by the Dozen and its 2005 sequel Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

Other film credits include 2016’s The Choice, 2014’s Draft Day, 2013’s Parkland and 2005’s The Fog.

Welling appeared in a pair of films last year: Mafia Wars, also starring Cam Gigandet and Cher Cosenza; and Clear Cut, which also featured Alec Baldwin, Clive Standen and Stephen Dorff.
