Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are both at the point in their lives at which they need “publicists.” Swift is surely long-accustomed to such a thing, as those folks help manage her image and feed info to the gossip rags … er, news outlets. And yes, Kelce must now play along, too., And therefore comes the latest announcement from the pair’s handlers that Kelce wants to be married and that Swift wants a “white wedding.” “Travis is going to have to go above and beyond but it won’t be a public spectacle,” the source told Daily Mail.
“They are both aware of the fact that the whole world is so thirsty for them to be engaged and, while Taylor does want a white wedding one day, her friends just feel like people need to chill and let them be a couple.” We’re just dumb ol’ football guys, so we don’t even know what a “white wedding” is.
Is that refer to the color of her dress? Does it mean Billy Idol will be performing? Does it mean it’ll be on the road, because that’s when the Chiefs wear white? The rumors about their relationship, of course, will not go away and that is part of the gig. (Theirs, and ours.) Swift’s recent 35th birthday party hosted by the Kansas City Chiefs tight end featured a star-studded guest list and $175,000 in gifts and flowers from Travis to Taylor … and maybe something else. An engagement ring? Wedding plans? Well, not exactly.

Swift asked Mahomes to “edit out” an engagement ring because she’s not yet ready to reveal the big news that she is now engaged to Kelce.
To us? It takes a lot of squinting and a very vivid imagination to see what some of the Swifties see. And we’d add that it would be easier to simply slip the ring from her hand if she doesn’t want it to be seen. And then there is Kelce’s reaction, via a source to the Daily Mail. “He does read some of these stories because it cannot be avoided,” the insider told Daily Mail. “And he finds some of it hilarious because he knows how much the world wants this to happen.At times it can be overwhelming for him…His family jokes with him about a wedding and pits him up against his brother whose wife is already popping out more babies.” “When the time comes, people will know about it. But they are going to keep some things private and will have elaborate plans in place to ensure secrecy,” a second source added. “They are not worried about those close to them leaking info because people who know them respect this. “When and if Travis does make this happen it will be for Taylor and for Taylor only.” While some fans are getting their weekend kicks zooming in on each and every available photo, Kelce and the Chiefs are preparing to build on their 13-1 record with a Saturday game against the Houston Texans. … and, they hope, for a third straight Super Bowl win after which everybody receives a ring – no mystery about it.
