She’s been proud and supportive at his games, and of course, he has returned the favor at the Eras Tour, even joining in with the performance at one of her dazzling London dates. His energy at the shows has been electric, but he’s also such a big fan of Tay’s that all he needs is the music to be close to her…
Travis Kelce dances to Taylor Swift at 2024 American Century Championship
Taylor may not have been on the green with Travis Kelce at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada this past weekend (July 12-14), but there’s no denying she was there in spirit.
The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end participated in a celebrity charity golf tournament as part of the 2024 American Century Championship.
A clip has been making the rounds of him dancing to the 1989 track Shake It Off before effortlessly aiming a basketball through a hoop.
“Dancing?” one commented on the video. “That was a shuffle,” they correct,” another pointing out it’s the “Taylor shuffle,” more fittingly.
Even when they’re far apart, they’re together—he’ll always vibe when her music‘s on.
“We’re here for the supportive boyfriend vibes,” a Swiftie commented, with others asking “How is he good at literally everything?”
It wasn’t just Shake It Off that followed him over the weekend either. An assortment of the singer-songwriter’s favorites graced his game during the first two rounds. In one instance, he was singing to a Lavender Haze remix, and in another the Post Malone featured Fortnight.
Travis may have missed a shot, but he ‘still got Taylor’
One of the weekend’s major Swiftie highlights was a hilarious fan interaction with Trav on the course.
A video captured him taking a swing and a miss. “It’s alright, you still got Taylor!” a fan yelled over at him in encouragement.
Finding the fun in it, he pointed over and replied “You ain’t lying there.”
Trav has been incredibly vocal about how much he appreciates and supports Taylor, happy to be open about his affection for her. He just keeps proving true to his word.
“He is the coolest dude ever!” a fan earlier commented on the Shake It Off dancing video. “Marry that, girl!”
