Patrick Mahomes claims he can’t keep up with the Kelce brothers when it comes to drinking – but Chiefs teammate Travis isn’t having any of it. During his appearance on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast last week, Mahomes opened up on his tendency to leave parties earlier after becoming a dad, while joking that Travis and Jason are cut from a different cloth in that department.
‘Jason has [three] kids too and so he has to pick and choose too, but when he chooses, he can go,’ the Kansas City quarterback said. ‘I think it’s got to be something in their blood or something.’ Following those comments, Travis and Jason provided a conflicting assessment on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, with the former pointing to his viral ‘dad bod’ as reasoning.
‘I’ve seen that man literally drink bars out of Coors [Light] literally — like, “We gotta run to the store and get some more. We didn’t think we’d run out of these things,”‘ Travis said. ‘But Pat Mahomes has done it twice now… Your body doesn’t look like that for nothing Pat. That dad bod, it don’t look like that for nothing.’
Kelce was referencing the photo of a shirtless Mahomes inside the Chiefs locker room that went viral after their AFC Championship win over the Baltimore Ravens back in January, which saw him trolled over his ‘dad-bod’ physique.
‘Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!?’ he wrote along with laughing emojis on X as the picture in question did the rounds. He later added: ‘Like i got kids!!!!’ As well as Travis, Jason poked fun at Mahomes for playing down his partying antics to Paul.

Mahomes was left in disbelief when a photo of his physique went viral earlier this year
‘I’m calling bulls**t,’ the recently-retired Philadelphia Eagles legend said. ‘Pat can keep up, he knows he can. ‘He’s playing coy right here, especially if it’s Coors Light, nobody’s keeping up with Pat.’ Travis then added: ‘Pat, I don’t know where the f**k we get it but you better stop playing modest and acting like you can’t drink because you can keep up.’
