Travis Kelce Shows Off His Golf Swing in Behind-the-Scenes Look at Upcoming Ad: Watch

Travis Kelce is expanding his business portfolio!  The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, will be featured in a new ad for Zen Water, the company teased through a clip shared on Instagram on Friday, April 26.  The video kicks off with a black screen and the words “Something big is coming,” before the set of a production shoot with tons of gear is shown. The video then cuts indoors to where a film crew is filming Kelce as he appears to swing a golf club toward a camera.

A woman can next be seen holding a small screen to watch the shot of Kelce as he practices his swing. The screen then cuts to black again, before the Instagram pages for Kelce and the water brand flash onscreen.  “Stay tuned…” next appears in writing.

The brand also teased in its Instagram post caption: “Coming soon…”  Kelce’s latest partnership comes as the NFL player gears up to host Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, which is set to stream on Prime Video. Kelce, who is dating Taylor Swift, told Extra earlier this week that he is “comfortable” with the spotlight on screen.

“I think it was all the home videos my mom used to have with the old camcorder, the handheld joint, at the house,” Kelce said. “I just always felt comfortable with the camera on me and the lights on me. Sure enough, I love a good challenge. I get excited for a challenge.”

Kelce shared in a statement following confirmation of his new hosting that he “grew up loving game shows” and is “excited to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons.”  However, this isn’t the first time the football tight end has stepped on screen. He previously starred in Catching Kelce, an E! reality dating show, and hosted Saturday Night Live last year. Following his SNL stint, he told PEOPLE that he’s “definitely interested” in doing more acting and exploring Hollywood ventures after football.

“It was an experience that was like nothing else that I’ve ever gone through,” he said. “I just can’t thank them enough for giving me that opportunity, because I didn’t know I was going to enjoy scripted comedy, or that entire entertainment world as much as I did, until I was on a set and going through the week of preparation and stuff like that.”

“So I’m definitely interested [in pursuing more acting projects], but that’s a whole new craft that I feel like I really got to lock in and focus on [before I do],” he added.  Despite dabbling in entertainment, Kelce has assured fans that he is still focused on his work on the football field. “I’m every bit as motivated to get back and win another Super Bowl,” he told Extra. “That’ll always be my number one job until I retire.”
