Watch out, Travis Kelce: Taylor Swift and Andy Reid connection revealed after Chiefs defeat Ravens

The Kansas City Chiefs are heading to the Super Bowl yet again. Taylor Swift looked on from a suite at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium as boyfriend Travis Kelce helped the Chiefs to a 17-10 win over the Ravens in an intense AFC Championship Game. After the game, Swift made her way to the field to share a kiss with Kelce and celebrate her adopted team’s second consecutive Super Bowl appearance.

But Swift also made sure to point out — literally — another architect of Kansas City’s dynastic success, a moment that showed how savvy an NFL fan the pop superstar has become since she began dating the younger Kelce brother last year.

Swift points at Reid — and Reid points back

In a lighthearted moment during the Lamar Hunt Trophy presentation, Swift and head coach Andy Reid shared a cute interaction emblematic of a strong connection that has formed between the two — and largely gone uncovered. The two pointed at one another in acknowledgment of the Chiefs’ stunning achievement — a fourth conference championship in only five years.

Reid has not often been asked about Swift’s impact on his team, but he clearly does not view the pop superstar as a distraction to Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, or any other Kansas City player. The Chiefs have stayed focused on their goal of repeating as Super Bowl champions — and they are now 60 minutes away from doing just that.

An impressive record extended

It has become increasingly clear that Swift has been the “good luck charm” for the 2023 Chiefs — and Kansas City fans have to be excited at what might happen in Las Vegas if the “Hoax” songwriter attends Super Bowl LVIII in two weeks’ time.

The Chiefs’ win in Baltimore brought their record to 9-3 in games that Swift has attended this season — including all three AFC playoff games, with two of those taking place away from Arrowhead Stadium. Swift’s presence has not had a direct correlation on Kansas City’s perhaps-unexpected postseason success, but Chiefs players have enjoyed having her around — and there may be even more to celebrate at Allegiant Stadium on Feb. 11.
