In a delightful twist that only a mother could deliver, Randi Mahomes nearly turned a leisurely day at the golf course into an unforgettable escapade. Taking to X (Twitter), she shared, “Almost 20 years working at a golf course and I almost wrecked a golf cart today. But still had a great time at the tournament. Lol.”  This lighthearted moment came during a significant weekend for the Mahomes family as NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes hosted his fourth annual golf classic and charity gala in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The event, held at the opulent Bellagio, was not just a gathering of sports enthusiasts but a star-studded affair that saw the likes of Patrick’s teammates, close family, and even pop icon Taylor Swift. Beyond the glitter and swing, the “15 and the Mahomies” foundation, started by Patrick five years ago, aimed to raise funds for children’s charities across the Kansas City metro area.

The foundation, which focuses on enhancing the lives of children through education, sports, and nutrition, saw tremendous support throughout the event. Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, took to Instagram to express her gratitude, saying, “Last night was Epic… if you were there, THANK YOU! We could not do this without all of our communities we are a part of and all the people that choose to support @15andmahomies.”

One of the highlights of the evening was when Travis Kelce, Mahomes’ Chiefs teammate, announced that Taylor Swift had donated four tickets to her “The Eras Tour.” The tickets sparked a bidding war that culminated in a staggering $80,000 donation.
